Sandals Caribbean Cay (Formerly Royal Caribbean) Photos

Sandals Caribbean Cay, Montego Bay, Jamaica

Sandals Caribbean Cay (it was Sandals Royal Caribbean until 6/17/2026, thus the resort abbreviation), SRC, is located on the north coast just down the road from Sandals MoBay. Beautiful sunsets and a private island with a clothing-optional beach.

Before and After

Here's a before and after picture of the new building at SRC from approximately the same point of view. These were taken about one year apart. Of course now that they have totally redone the resort to Sandals 2.0, this isn't the latest change to SRC.

Beach Bar

This is the Mariner’s bar and restaurant. The restaurant only serves lunch and late night snacks.

Bombay Restaurant

The outside of the Indian food restaurant called Bombay.

Concrete Pumping

They were pumping new concrete yesterday and they went till at least 8 pm. Not much noise and couldn’t hear anything inside our room.

Dock, Island, and Over Water rooms

The pier/dock by water sports and looking over at the private island and the over-water rooms. Of course during sunset!

Dragon Boat

They still use the dragon boat to shuttle people from the resort to the private island

Dwayne

This is Dwayne who was one of our butlers at SRC.

Flower covered bridge

The bridge has always been there, but now they’ve put (fake) flowers on it.

French Restaurant

Le Jardinier is the French restaurant at SRC.

Hummingbird

SRC is one of the best places to get pictures of humming birds. Of course, this doesn’t mean that it’s easy to take their picture.

La Tavola

This used to be the outdoor Jamaican restaurant. It’s now the outdoor Italian restaurant.

Lizrard Blowing Bubble

It looks like this lizard is blowing a bubble. I think they expand their neck like that to attract a female, but not sure.

The main pool. This is where they have daytime entertainment, music, and games.

Managers

The managers all lined up after the marching band finished

Marching Band

They used to bring in a local school’s marching band once a week. Was really cute to see the children playing. Some were quite good, others had a little more mischief in them.
