The following guide contains some useful information about a wedding, or retying the knot (aka, vow renewal), or an elopement at one of the Sandals or Beaches Resorts.
Island Wedding Requirements
If you're thinking about a Destination Wedding, here are the requirements to get married on the different islands where Sandals and / or Beaches resorts are located. Each island / country has its own fees and requirements for "residency period" before having a legal wedding. The good news is that the "residency period" includes just being there for vacation! All fees listed are in US $. (Updated from Sandals Wedding Guide, October 2023)

Antigua
Residency period: 48 hrs. (must include one business day, NOT including holidays)
No Sunday weddings.

Bahamas
Residency period: 48 hrs. (must include one business day, NOT including holidays)

Wedding Policies at Sandals / Beaches
Here are some of the highlights of the wedding policies:
- $250 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the wedding date and time, but this fee is applied to the cost of the license fee.
- 50% payment of all wedding items is due 120 days before arrival.
- Final payment is due 60 days before arrival.
- $250 surcharge for Friday and Saturday weddings.
- Twilight ceremonies have an additional fee of $600.
- Wedding passes for guests not staying at Sandals or Beaches are limited to 20% of the overall guest count.
- While symbolic ceremonies, aka, re-tie the knot, can be done at any Sandals or Beaches, the only resort performing same-sex ceremonies is Sandals Royal Curacao and they are not legal marriages.
Cancellation Policy:
- For a full refund, cancel at least 46 days before arrival.
- 45–31 days before arrival only receive 50% refund.
- 30 days or less are non-refundable.
- Floral purchases are non-refundable if cancelled less than 45 days before arrival
- Excludes the non-refundable $250 deposit to hold the date and time
