I’d never heard of IRBS until a couple of days ago. It stands for International Remote Baggage Screening and it sounds like a real time saver, so hopefully its implementation expands quickly.

Well, this blog is about Club Mobay, but there are other clubs, too. Club Mobay is an airport lounge at Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It does NOT provide transportation to any resort. Transfers can either be a part of your booking with the resort, or you can hire a private transfer, but that is all separate from Club Mobay.

There have been several improvements to the Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The most recent major improvement was the lengthening of the runway. Of course, that one is hard for the people passing through the airport to benefit from.

I was surprised by this week’s 777 Sale.  I was really expecting Sandals South Coast to have a room on the sale, but none of the rooms on the sale were at South Coast.

Ever since Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica in October 2025, three Sandals resorts in Jamaica have been closed: Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay, and Sandals Royal Caribbean (now called Sandals Caribbean Cay). That means that no rooms at these resorts have been on the weekly 777 sale since then, either.

Sandals has updated their resort maps. I was looking for a new map for SRC since there’s been so many changes, and what I found were updated maps for, I think, all the Sandals resorts.

So you all know that Sandals is exclusively All-Inclusive, no tipping required, and even no tipping allowed. But, there are still times when you SHOULD tip.
