Does it seem like it rains a lot when you’re on vacation? If you go to one of the Caribbean islands, sometimes it seems like it rains every day. The thing is, it might. But there are those days that it’s so hot, that you wish a cloud would come over for just a couple of minutes. And a light sprinkle would probably feel really good.

But don’t give up on the day. Lots of times it’s just a passing shower that will be gone in no time! It’s not unusual for a quick shower to pop up almost every afternoon. The thing is, it’s usually just a quick one. Grab a towel and cover up for a few minutes. At the worst, go to the swim up bar and have a drink, after all, who cares if it’s raining when you’re in the pool?

Of course they also get some cloudbursts that just drench you in no time. They don’t usually pop up as quick as a light sprinkle. The clouds get dark and build up for a while. If you see that, you might want to find a place to shelter, grab a book, and get comfy. Don’t forget to grab a drink on your way. Then just sit back, sip your drink, watch everyone else run for cover for a little while, then pop open that book you’ve always wanted to start reading but didn’t want to waste a nice sunny day reading it.

Remember, a rainy day in the Caribbean is still better than a sunny day stuck at work!
