Sandals Dunn's River (SDR) is the "newest" Sandals resort in Jamaica. Sandals had a resort here for quite some time, but they didn't own the property and ended up closing the resort. A few years later they got the chance to purchase the property, which they did. They then refurbished it and reopened it using the same Sandals Dunn's River name.
