Sandals Reunion Week

Have you ever gone to a Sandals resort during their Reunion Week (now called “Welcome Home Week”)? We never used to, but then we tried it once — and now we try to go back every year.  The dates change each year, but it always starts on Easter Monday.

The tradition started many years ago when the Sandals team was trying to come up with something grand to get guests to travel to Sandals at the start of slow season.

They always give special gifts during the week. Pictured above are the goodies we received in April 2026 — a couple of T-shirts, a couple of hats, two double-walled metal cups with straws, and a very sturdy canvas beach bag. Not bad for just showing up!

With all the special events, extra entertainment, excursions, giveaways, and fun surprises throughout the week, the trip really does feel a little more special.

Some of the “extra” events during Welcome Home Week include:

✨ An off-property excursion — each resort does something different. Sometimes it’s a special catamaran cruise, rafting down a river, or unique island adventures. The big event this year at Sandals Dunn’s River was a trip to a beautiful beach for a full day of food, drinks, fun, and relaxation. A catamaran was used to get to the special beach, then a bus to return to the resort.

✨ Entertainment is taken up a notch all week long, with the biggest celebration usually happening during the Returning Guest Dinner.

✨ They also hold a drawing where one lucky guest wins enough SSG points to book a return trip.

They truly pull out all the stops to make Welcome Home Week feel extra special for returning guests.
