I was surprised by this week’s 777 Sale.  I was really expecting Sandals South Coast to have a room on the sale, but none of the rooms on the sale were at South Coast.

Of the Jamaica 3 (that’s what they call the 3 Jamaica Sandals resorts that are being upgraded to Sandals 2.0 after Hurricane Melissa), Montego Bay and Caribbean Cay have had a room on the sale for the past two weeks. And since South Coast is supposed to open a month before the other 2, I just thought there would be a South Coast room on the sale this week.

Well, I was wrong. I’m not sure if South Coast is mostly booked up, or if it’s not going to open on time, or if there’s a backlog of weddings scheduled. But even if there are plenty of bookings or weddings, I would have thought they’d have a room and just start the travel window dates out further. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if a South Coast room ends up on next week’s sale.
