Sandals has updated their resort maps. I was looking for a new map for SRC since there’s been so many changes, and what I found were updated maps for, I think, all the Sandals resorts. It didn’t look like Beaches resorts have been updated yet.

The really good news is that the maps of Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay, and Sandals Caribbean Cay are all up to date with the new building, new pools, and old buildings that are no longer have been deleted from the maps. But all these new maps are from directly above the resort, whereas the old ones were from an angle so you could see the resort better and it gave it an almost 3D look. The new ones just look like boxes and circles and you can’t really see the building faces.

Now, what I haven’t been able to find are updated maps with the key and numbers with them, like the ones I have posted on our Resort Maps page on this site. It appears they’ve done away with those and instead have gone towards interactive maps instead of having a key to the map. An interactive map is great, but a standalone map with a key can be very useful in certain situations, too.

So if you haven’t seen them yet, go to the Sandals website and pick one of the resorts from the Resorts list. Then to the right, under the main picture of the resort, there’s a list of menu items. Click on the More option, then select Resort Map and that brings up the new interactive map of the resort. Then when you hover over any of the white targets, it brings up text to tell you what it is. And above the map is a list of categories, like Rooms, Pools, Activities, etc. If you click on one of those, the white targets change to that category and the associated text follows suit.
